The Mastering Heat Exchangers Lab package is a complete teaching resource covering the three classical heat-exchanger geometries. A shared supply unit feeds hot and cold streams, and three interchangeable cassette-style heat exchangers — concentric (tube-in-tube), plate-type, and shell-and-tube — sit on the same bench. Students perform the standard heat-balance, LMTD, effectiveness-NTU analyses across geometries, comparing performance directly. Parallel- and counter-flow operation is switched by valve, and the Sangari data-acquisition software logs temperatures, flows and calculated heat-transfer coefficients in real time — an ideal match for the heat-exchanger chapter of an undergraduate thermal-systems course or a short industrial training on exchanger sizing and performance assessment.
